My organization is planning on implementing an "ask a nurse" section our our company web-page. These questions would then be answered daily by our Call Center triage RN's. I am looking for comments, thoughts, experiences, suggestions related to implementaiton of such a program. My concerns are whether this type of thing can turn into triage over the internet (potential legal problems) and how to avoid this while still providing excellent care via the web to our patients.

SGNA eHealth Course: To all of you who attended the eHealth Session, I DID receive an email response from the Rudd Clinic 2 days later. Remember, we sent an email regarding rectal bleeding. The response was appropriate and timely. See, the Internet really can be used with patients! Hope you enjoyed the session!

As part of a nursing informatic committee I was charged with the task of finding out what e-nursing is. By browsing through this website I have come to understand what ehealth nursing is but I would like to know what people think enursing is. How would you define e nursing.

I have been involved in telephone triage for ~ 10 years. In the last 4 years of my nursing practice, I have also been involved as a Legal Nurse Consultant. I would like to explore actual litigation issues related to telephone triage for nurses. If anyone has such information about acutal cases, I would be very interested in hearing about this subject.

Several of my staff and I attended Carol's "Telephone Nursing Avoiding Legal & Practice Obstacles" seminar in May and liked it so much that we're sending some to the program in Alaska. We are a multi-specialty clinic trying to get organized and the information presented really helped. It was well worth it!

Our organization just viewed your video on Telephone Nursing: Avoiding Legal & Practice Obstacles. Thanks for an excellent presentation. It kept everyone on their toes the entire time! We now feel like we have concrete answers to many of our questions and we are looking forward rather than dreading the task of improving our telephone system.
