Featured Speaker:
Carol
M. Stock, J.D., M.N., R.N., is principal of the law firm of Carol M.
Stock & Associates, a legal and health care consulting firm in Seattle,
Washington. Carol received her Juris Doctorate (law degree) from Seattle
University and her Master's of Nursing from the University of
Washington. Ms. Stock specializes in healthcare risk management,
offering legal consulting services to eHealth, telemedicine, telehealth,
telephone
triage and healthcare facilities worldwide. She is an adjunct professor
in Northwest University's Department of Nursing, is a member of the
Washington State Bar Association, a founding member of the National
Certification Corporation (NCC) Telephone Nursing Practice Content Team,
and helped draft the first AAACN Telephone Nursing Practice
Administration and Practice Standards. Prior to practicing law, Carol
practiced as a family nurse practitioner in both rural and urban
ambulatory care facilities. She lectures frequently on eHealth and
telehealth, EMR and documentation issues, risk management and numerous
other legal and practice issues in all aspects of health care. She is a leading imagineer in the field of eHealth
nursing, and
speaks frequently on emerging eHealth legal and practice issues. Check
